Banks are closing at record levels as customers in recent years, have switched to online banking. Customers are rarely go into their own branches, resulting in most High Street banks choosing not to renew their leases, once their tenancies have expired. Most sites are within prominent positions inside towns and cities, ensuring that these central locations need to be revitalised. One popular solution is to convert these previous banks into leisure facilities, to attract the public back using these buildings. Recently the Royal Bank of Scotland in Perth, was transformed into the Bunker Golf Lounge & Bar. Offering customers the opportunity to play links golf on the worlds most accurate indoor simulator, whilst relaxing having a drink or an Indian meal with friends and family. Customers also have the option to compete in Formula One, NASCAR or Rallying competitions on the Racing Simulator and Sports Simulation is likely to be added soon.
