CZECH REPUBLIC
BRNO CIRCUIT
They’ve been racing here since the ’30s when a 25KM dirt track headed off into thick forest from where many would never return. In the mid-’80s, in amongst the gorgeous setting of the original track, they built a whole new facility—Autodromo Brno—that became one of the very few tracks behind the Iron Curtain where fans could get a glimpse of international racing. The width of the tarmac and its flowing turns and numerous hard braking spots always encourage wheel-to-wheel action, and you can make a pass stick almost anywhere here with the notable exception of Turn 1 that is just a sheer test of courage. With loads of undulation changes, getting your lines right through blind entries and difficult exits is your key to mastering this technical and fun track.
