Cardiff is used for regular team football in the English league, by one of the top teams. The Cardiff City Stadium hosted the 2014 Super Cup Final and is home to the Welsh National football team.

Swansea is used for regular team football in the English league. The Liberty Stadium has hosted 7 International football matches and is home of a top rugby union team, in the Pro 12 League.
