Adelaide East is used for Exhibition Matches and for Football Finals. The Adelaide Oval has hosted Australian Cricket, Aussie Rules, Baseball, Gridiron, Hockey, Rugby League, 7’s and 2013 Rugby Union World Cup.

Adelaide West is used for regular team Football in Australia's top league, by the best team in the league. The Hindmarsh Stadium hosted several football matches including a quarter final-match, for the 2000 Summer Olympics.

Brisbane is used for regular team football in Australia's top league, by one of the top teams. The Suncorp Stadium hosts Australian rules, rugby league, rugby union; its record attendance was for a 2013 Lions match.

Melbourne is used for regular team football in Australia's top league, by the best team in the league. Located in the Docklands precinct of Melbourne, the Etihad Stadium also hosts Australian rules and other sporting events.

Newcastle Jets is used for regular team football in Australia's top league, by one of the best teams in the A-League. The Hunters Stadium also hosts a top rugby league team, it has previously hosted baseball too.

Perth is used for regular team football in Australia's top league, by the best team in the league. The Nib Stadium also hosts one of the top Australian rugby union teams, in the future probably a rugby league team too.

Sydney North is used for regular team Football in Australia's top league, by the best team in the league. Located in the Gosford a district of Sydney, The Central Coast Stadium is the second smallest in the'A-league.

Sydney South is used for regular team football in Australia's top league, by a top team located in Sydney. The Sydney Football Stadium has been used regularly for rugby league and Rugby Sevens tournaments.

Sydney West is used for regular team Football in Australia's top league, by the best team in the league. Located in the Parramatta a district of Sydney, the Parramatta Stadium also hosts rugby league and concerts.
